You send your request to Delibra. We clarify with you the purpose of the survey, the spaces concerned and the documents required, then coordinate the services entrusted to Locram according to the needs of the assignment.
The deliverables and level of detail are defined according to your project: documentation of the existing condition, renovation study, transformation, extension or preparation of a building permit application. The scope of services of each party is specified in the quotation.
State-of-the-art measuring equipment
Locram uses professional FARO laser scanners and makes a point of working with state-of-the-art equipment. These instruments make it possible to capture the geometry of buildings and build a digital record of the existing condition.
The survey method and the documents to be produced are adapted to the requirements of the assignment. Working conditions and accuracy requirements are defined with Locram for each request.
Survey and documentation services offered by Locram
Depending on the needs of the building and the project, different services can be combined. Their availability and scope are to be confirmed when the quotation is drawn up.
FARO laser-scanner surveys and point clouds. The data acquired is assembled and processed to form a digital representation of the building. This point cloud documents the existing condition and serves as the basis for the studies and documents that follow.
2D plans, sections and elevations. Locram can produce or update the documents required when the available plans are incomplete, outdated or non-existent. The level of detail is adapted to the intended use.
3D modelling with Revit. From the point cloud, Locram can produce a digital model of the existing building. It helps to better understand the volumes and the relationships between the different elements of the construction.
Orthophotos and façade documentation. Scaled views derived from the survey document the surfaces and details of the façades. They can complement the plans to analyse the existing building and prepare the work.
360° virtual tours. Depending on the services available and the terms agreed, the surveyed spaces can be viewed remotely through panoramic views. This access makes it easier to understand the premises and to exchange between the parties involved.
Dimensional checks on site. Spot surveys make it possible to compare the geometry observed on site with the construction drawings and to highlight any deviations at the agreed stages of the works.
Digital archiving of building data. The surveyed data forms a record of the condition of the building at a given date. It can be kept for future analyses or work, according to the handover and archiving terms set out in the assignment.
From point cloud to plans and digital model
Delibra can use the data obtained in Revit to prepare its architectural studies and develop options for renovation, transformation or extension.
This working basis helps to take the features of the existing building into account, to study how new fittings can be integrated and to coordinate exchanges with the other parties involved. The documents used and their level of detail depend on the assignment entrusted to Delibra.
